LOCAL INFRAGARD ANNOUNCES NEW OFFICERS AND BOARD MEMBERS

The Board of Directors of the InfraGard Buffalo Members Alliance today announced the new Officers and Board Members for the upcoming year. John W. Schunak, CISSP, has been elected the President of the Board.

Mr. Schunak is currently the Lead Consultant and President at Quality Management Practices in Williamsville, NY. Timothy J. Lukasiewicz, CISSP, has been elected Executive Vice President and Membership Coordinator.

Mr. Lukasiewicz is currently a Senior Vice President at Citi Markets and Banking. Harry Meyer has been elected Board Secretary. Mr. Meyer is a partner at the law firm of Hodgson Russ in Buffalo, NY. Donna Marie Kaputa, Ph.D., has been elected Board Treasurer. Dr. Kaputa is a CIS faculty member at Erie Community College in Williamsville, NY. Scott Patronik has been elected Vice President. Mr. Patronik is the Chief, Special Services Division, for the Erie County Sheriff's Office. Edward A. Pardo, CISSP, has been elected Vice President. Mr. Pardo is currently a Global Security Architect, HSBC Technology & Services. John Walp, CISM, has been elected Vice President. Mr. Walp is currently a Vice President and Corporate Information Security Officer at M&T Bank.

InfraGard is a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) program that links citizens within the private sector, academia, and federal, state and local government agencies to build relationships that foster trusted communication and the exchange of information for the safety and security of the American people and our infrastructures. The private sector and non FBI component of InfraGard currently consist of thousands of volunteer members divided into 84 local chapters nationwide. InfraGard Chapters are geographically linked with FBI Field Office territories. Each InfraGard Chapter has an FBI Special Agent Coordinator assigned to it and the FBI Coordinator works closely with the InfraGard Program Manager at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. InfraGard is the oldest and largest public private partnership of its kind and is the only existing organization with outreach to small and medium businesses with information and relationships of national caliber.
