St. Bonaventure Coach Pleads Guilty
BUFFALO, N.Y.-- Larry Donald Sudbrook, 52, of Bradford, PA, pleaded guilty before U.S. Magistrate Judge H. Kenneth Schroeder, Jr., to a criminal infraction, U.S. Attorney Terrance P. Flynn of the Western District of New York announced today. Assistant U.S. Attorney Jorge S. de Rosas, who handled the case, stated that on May 10, 2007, the defendant attempted to carry a bag that contained a .357 caliber revolver onto an airplane in violation of Airport Security regulations. As a part of the plea agreement Judge Schroeder ordered the defendant to pay a $1,000 fine and to forfeit the firearm to the proper federal authorities. The plea was the culmination of an investigation on the part of Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), under the direction of Laurie J. Bennett, and the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), under the direction of George Gast.
